Cleveland Museum of
Art In addition to a superb permanent collection and special
exhibitions, the CMA offers talks and lectures, gallery tours, film festivals,

Geauga County
Courthouse The Geauga County Courthouse, built in 1869, is on the
National Register of Historic Places. It is one of the notable buildings in the
Chardon Courthouse Square Historic District. Constructed of brick and stone
with arched windows by a prominent Cleveland architect.
Museum of Contemporary Art
Cleveland The Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art displays four
seasons of exhibitions per year. It emphasizes progressive ideas that embrace a
full spectrum of artistic issues, including vital political and social issues.
Its wide-array of programs reflects cultural and artistic diversity celebrating
national and international artistic achievements as well as contributions by
regional artists. Achieved national recognition.
Crawford Auto-Aviation
Museum The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum showcases nearly 200 antique,
vintage, and classic automobiles, and types of aircraft. The collection
documents the technological and stylistic development of the transportation
industry, with a focus on early automobiles created in Cleveland. Between 1898
and 1931, more than 80 automotive models originated in the Cleveland area. The
Crawford collection is one of the top ten in the nation, according to Car
Collector magazine.
Stan Hywet Hall and
Gardens Located in Akron, Ohio, Stan Hywet Hall is one of the finest
examples of Tudor Revival architecture in America. The majestic 65-room country
estate sits on 70 acres of artfully landscaped gardens and grounds.
The Cleveland
Symphony Be sure to hear this first-rate orchestra performing in
beautiful Severance Hall. International guest artists join the orchestra for
performances of classic and contemporary repertoire. The Cleveland Symphony
also performs in its summer home, the Blossom Music Festival, in Cuyahoga
Falls.
The Cleveland
Playhouse The Cleveland Play House is America's first permanently
established professional theatre company. The Playhouse produces a wide-ranging
repertoire, and the performances are of highest quality.
Lyric Opera Cleveland The
Lyric opera has established a national reputation for its innovative and
adventuresome programming. The repertoire is in English, the atmosphere is
relaxing, and fun - evening intermission picnics are an integral part of this
delightful venue. Performances are given outdoors; also indoors at the Drury
Theatre.
Cleveland Museum of Natural
History This Museum covers a range of natural phenomena: come to evening
stargazing at the Ralph Mueller Observatory, learn about wild animals in the
Wildlife Resource Center, enjoy a stimulating lecture in the Explorer Series or
Frontiers of Astronomy educational programs.
Geauga County Maple Festival This
festival celebrates the production of maple syrup, a leading agricultural
product from Northern Ohio, straight from the tree. Festival events include
maple syrup judging, two parades, a photo contest, bathtub races. Also crafts
show, rides, concessions, and much more. Always held the weekend after
Easter.

Mentor Marsh State
Nature Preserve This 700 plus acre nature preserve is an interpretive
nature preserve. Mentor Marsh was one of the first four natural areas to be
incorporated into the state nature preserve system. Bird watching is
particularly satisfying during spring and fall migrations. Scenic trails,
boardwalks and overlooks enhance viewing and exploring activities in this
unique preserve.
